There are many ways to gain one more offensive player than the defense at the point of attack. Chunk plays happen because of plus one. Plus one happens because of the perfect play offensive system. Pre-snap, the quarterback will make a determination of where the ball should go. Post snap, he reads the stack and runs to throw.
